UK 22-Year-Old Fatally Stabbed in Daylight Near Stadium, Killer Still at Large

A 22-year-old man has died after being fatally stabbed in broad daylight near Wembley Stadium, with the attacker still at large.

Police have launched an urgent murder investigation following the violent incident in Wembley, north-west London, on Monday afternoon. Emergency services were called to High Road, close to the national stadium, shortly before 1pm.

Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before rushing him to hospital, but despite their efforts, he later died from his injuries.

The young man’s family has been notified and is receiving support from specialist officers.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that no arrests have been made so far, and the investigation continues, led by the homicide command.

Detective Chief Superintendent Luke Williams said his thoughts are with the victim’s family during this “unimaginably difficult time.” He emphasised the devastating impact of knife crime on communities and assured residents they will see an increased police presence in the coming days.

He added that officers are working quickly to establish the full circumstances and urged anyone with information to come forward.
